Employment infrastructure, open to everyone
Populus is a free employment network connecting people and organisations across the world. No paywall for jobseekers, no posting fees for employers.
Most job boards monetise access to opportunity. That model excludes the people who need work most and the small organisations who cannot afford to advertise. Populus takes the opposite position: publishing a genuine vacancy and applying to one are both free, permanently.
Our role is to make the exchange trustworthy. Employers verify their organisations before a vacancy becomes public. Jobseekers control who can see their profile and their documents. Administrators review listings, handle reports, and keep the directory free of fraudulent postings.
The platform is built to be global from the first release: any country, any currency, any time zone. English is the initial interface language, with the architecture prepared for further localisation.
What comes next
A future release will introduce an AI employment agent for jobseekers and an AI recruitment assistant for employers, plus educational pathways through a partner academy. None of those capabilities are active in this version — the data structures exist so they can be added without rebuilding the platform.
