Is Populus really free?
Yes. Creating a profile, publishing a genuine vacancy and applying to a job cost nothing, and there is no paid tier for either side in this version.
Who can see my CV?
Nobody by default. Your CV is stored privately and is only shared with an employer when you submit an application to one of their jobs.
Why does my job say it needs review?
Every new vacancy enters a moderation queue before it appears in public search. This keeps fraudulent and prohibited postings off the platform.
How does employer verification work?
An employer submits their company for verification. An administrator reviews the submitted information and either approves or rejects it with a reason. The badge on a company page always reflects the current status.
Can I hide my profile from employers?
Yes. Privacy settings control public profile visibility and whether verified employers can discover your profile without an application.
How do I report a suspicious listing?
Use the Report a problem page. Reports reach the moderation queue and are tracked from open through to resolution.
